Lucario is one of the most beloved Pokemon to come out of Generation IV. This Fighting/Steel type is highly sought out even today, and is the object of desire for shiny hunters worldwide.
If you want a shiny Lucario of your own in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you are going to have shiny hunt for it. You can either shiny hunt for a rare Lucario, or shiny hunt for the more common Riolu, and then evolve it into a Lucario.
Below are the locations to find both Riolu and Lucario.
Where to Find Riolu in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
The following are the places where you can encounter and shiny hunt for Riolu:
- Icebond Falls
- Alabaster Islands (south of Snowfall Hot Spring)
Once you have encountered and caught your shiny Riolu, all you need to do is increase its friendship by winning battles with it and giving it items, and then leveling it up during the day, and you’ve got your shiny Lucario.
Where to Find Lucario in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Finding a Lucario is significantly tougher than finding a Riolu, as they have a much lower spawn rate. Not only that, Lucario are found in merely one location: South of Snowfall Spring, where you can also find Riolu.
The odds that you will come across a Shiny Riolu or Lucario are 1 in 4,096. If you have beaten the game and acquired the Shiny Charm, your odds will drop down to 1 in 819.
Additionally, if you complete all the research tasks for the Pokemon in the game, your shiny odds can cap at 1 in 585, giving you a much easier time to encounter a Shiny Riolu or Shiny Lucario!
