Kleavor is one of the earliest new Pokemon from Hisui that was revealed during teasers and gameplay trailers dropped by The Pokemon Company. Ever since then, it has been highly anticipated due to it being a branched evolution of the beloved Pokemon, Scyther.
Kleavor possesses the Bug / Rock typing along with a new signature move in Stone Axe. Kleavor shows off large stone axes for hands and is much larger in size than Scyther and even its other branched final stage evolution, Scizor.
How to Get Shiny Kleavor in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
In order to get a shiny Kleavor, you will first need to find and catch a shiny Scyther, which you can do by shiny hunting for one in either Obsidian Fieldlands (Grandtree Arena), or Coronet Highlands (Primeval Grotto).
Your base shiny odds are going to be sitting at a disappointing 1 in 4,096, however. So we recommend that before you go shiny hunting for a Scyther that you maximize your shiny odds.
To increase your shiny odds for Scyther to 1 in 2048.25, you need to achieve Research Level 10 in Scyther’s Pokedex page.
To further increase your shiny odds for Scyther to 1 in 1,024.3, you need to have completed every single task in Scyther’s Pokedex page. While this is a lot of improvement, you can even further improve your shiny odds.
If you have beaten the main game and gotten the Shiny Charm, this will finally increase your shiny odds for Scyther to an amazing 1 in 585.7 chance. With these maximized shiny odds, you can much more comfortably shiny hunt for a Scyther.
Once you’ve scoured the lands and caught yourself a shiny Scyther, you will need to work on evolving it. To evolve your shiny Scyther, you need to use the Black Augurite item on it. This will immediately evolve your Shiny Scyther into a Shiny Kleavor.
The Black Augurite item can be found in the following ways:
- A drop from beating Graveler or Golem.
- Hidden on the ground, picked up by Ursaluna.
- In Space-Time Distortions.
- Possible reward in the Request “A Nosepass to Guide the Way”.
