How to Get More Gold in Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Welcome back to the Warhammer 40k universe! We’re back today with another guide on Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade. This time, we’ll give you some general hints and tips on how to get more gold without paying real money. The game is a bit stingy when it comes to rewarding gold, but we’ll do the best we can with our guide on how to get more gold in Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade!

1. Complete the quests!

As mentioned in the previous guide, you will start to receive quests when you’re about to finish chapter one. You will initially start with two quests at a time – a story quest and daily quest – with more coming if you complete your previous ones. Once you reach level 15, you’ll start receiving Weekly Quests. These quests can be done once a week and the rewards are quite good. Often times, gold will be the reward for completing quests, so you ‘re going to want to do as many as possible.

2. Compete in the events!

Event quests are special challenges that have their own conditions and objectives. Attempting an event quest will put your score on the national leaderboard, where you’ll be compared to other players. Whoever does the best gets amazing rewards, up to 100 gold! Check the daily event rewards list for details, but essentially the higher rank you place, the better your rewards will be. Try these event missions out once you’ve upgraded your war machine!

3. Level up!

This goes without saying but do your best as you progress through the campaign. Every time you level up you earn a tiny bit of gold, and every little bit helps! To get more experience, try to get super high scores on each level and get all of the medals. Consult the previous guide on general battles tips of scoring well!

4. Use some blessings!

You can also try using some blessings, which function like normal boosters. There are no “gold” blessings, but there are experience, knight power, ore, and loot quality boosters. These will all help you as you progress through the increasingly difficult campaign levels, and will hopefully level you up faster. You can watch a short advertisement for a free blessing of a random type, and you can watch as many ads as you wish.

5. Spend your gold!

Ultimately, it’s up to you what you should spend your gold on. If you’re not entirely confident, we have some suggestions. The first and foremost thing you should be considering is multiple forge slots. As you progress through the game, you’re going to end up with a lot of extra wargear, and forge times will start to shoot up through the roof. Having multiple forge slots lets you craft multiple things and you can put your extra gear to good use. For this reason, we believe it’s best to skip out on the supply drops and just craft your own rare gear. You can drop a couple of gold here and there for rushed forge crafting but be careful – that can rack up pretty quick if you let it get out of hand!
