How to Get Legendary Cards in Clash Royale
Royal Arena
When you earn 2000 trophies, you unlock the Royal Arena, which adds the Legendary Chest in your chest cycle. A Legendary Chest has a 100% chance to contain a Legendary Card.
If you never lose, you can get a Legendary Chest in every 480 battles, since there are 240 chests in 1 cycle, and Legendary Chests appear once every 2 cycles.
Completing Quests
The various quests found in-game give you rewards. These are simple tasks such as opening 10 chests, donating 4 rare cards, and so on, with Legendary needing only 400 points to unlock.
In-Game Shop
If you are at 3000 trophies, Legendary Cards can be purchased at the shop for 40,000 gold, given that you are already Level 7. You can either save up all that gold, or just purchase gold using Gems that you have saved up.
Join a Strong Clan
When you are a member of a clan, and Level 8, you can take part in clan wars. You will want to use Clan Cards to build a deck for War Day, where you will go up for one battle. The clan that gets the most wins on War Day wins the entire war, and gets a War Chest that is based on your Clan League along with the highest-ranked war you’ve participated in.
If you’ve reached Legendary 1st League, you have a 100% to get a Legendary Card in your War Chest.
Winning Challenges
Every time Clash Royale begins a challenge, they release a new Legendary Card as well, which can be won as the reward for getting 12 wins in the challenge while competing against other people.
