How to Get Iron Banner Emblem in Destiny 2 – Emblem Guide

Learn how to get the new Iron Banner-themed Emblems in Destiny 2.

Iron Banner is a competitive event in Destiny 2 that lasts for a week. Players will fight in the Crucible to see who’s the best as usual, but this time they’ll be able to earn special rewards while the Iron Banner event is active. Today, we’ll show you how to get Iron Banner Emblem in our Destiny 2 Emblem guide!

Destiny 2 Iron Banner Emblems Guide

When the Iron Banner event is active, the titular banner will be lit ablaze in the middle of the Tower Courtyard. Here, you’ll find Lord Saladin, so speak to him to get start with the Iron Banner reputation quest.

Note that you needed to have reached Lord Shaxx in the New Light quest before you’re eligible to participate in the Iron Banner event. Additionally, you do not need to own any of the Destiny 2 paid expansion packs.

Now that you’re registered, open the Crucible menu and select the Iron Banner option. Iron Banner matches are 6-on-6 teams, level advantages are disabled, and heavy ammo crates are shared.

Completing Iron Banner matches will reward you with Iron Banner Tokens, which can be turned into Lord Saladin to rank-up your reputation and unlock sweet rewards. In addition to this, there are side missions that can be completed to earn more rewards, namely the Emblems.

There are five Iron Banner-themed Emblems for Guardians to collect. Here’s a complete list of them, alongside the unlock conditions:

  • Iron in the Fire: Complete Iron Banner’s Season 9 Seasonal Pursuit.
  • Cast Iron: Complete the associated Iron Banner quest.
  • 1530 Centigrade: Complete Iron Banner matches and earn rank-up packages from Lord Saladin.
  • Iron to Steel: Complete Iron Banner matches and earn rank-up packages from Lord Saladin.
  • Blood to the Wolf: Complete Iron Banner matches and earn rank-up packages from Lord Saladin.

To summarize, simply play in the Iron Banner Crucible mode, and you’ll naturally unlock the Iron Banner Emblems over time.
