Upon reaching Syrup Island, then head directly up the slope and once you get to the top, make a sharp turn to the west and continue running rather than moving forward. After a while, you’ll stumble upon an NPC named Aninah who is seemingly asleep.
Aninah is the NPC that’ll teach you how to use Geppo. So speak to them and they’ll offer to teach you the technique for 500 Beli, which is surprisingly a cheap fee to pay for such a good technique.
