How to Get Better at Wordle Beginner Guide: Tips and Cheats

Wordle is a popular word game that helps students develop their imagination and vocabulary. The game is very simple—you need to solve one hidden word every day. You have only six attempts to guess the words. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get better at this game.

Tips for Beginners in Wordle

To guess the correct word, you have only one tool—other words. The mechanics of the game are such that you need to enter words, and using color clues for each letter, find the truth. There are 3 colors in total:

  • Gray – Gray letters do not participate in the hidden word at all.
  • Yellow – There are yellow letters in the hidden word, but you need to rearrange them to a different position.
  • Green – These are the correct letters and are exactly where they should be.

It doesn’t seem difficult, but you only have 6 tries, so you can only use 6 words to guess.

The first word is the most important. How quickly you can solve the puzzle depends on it. We recommend using words where all 5 letters are different, as well as not rare letters. Good options would be:

  • Cream
  • Beach
  • Abuse

Next, you need to use a word that does not have gray letters from the first try. You can also try a word with 5 new letters to increase your chances. There may be words in the game that contain several of the same letters, but you’d better not use such words in the first 3-4 attempts.

If you can’t think of a word, then feel free to use Google. You can find any 5 letter words there.
