You can get Inherited Skills in Fire Emblem Engage from the Central Pedestal inside the Ring Chamber in Somniel. 

To unlock the Inherited Skills option, you must play through the game’s campaign until Chapter 4. After that, when you interact with the said Central Pedestal, you will find a list of options, with the first being Inherited Skills.

You can use Emblem Rings which are at Bond Level 5 or more to unlock their respective Inherited Skills through the Inherited Skill menu. But you must have enough Skill Points to purchase the Skill. 

In summary, here is how you can get Inherited Skills in Fire Emblem Engage:

  • Complete Chapter 4 of Fire Emblem Engage;
  • Go to Somniel and make your way to the Ring Chamber;
  • Interact with the Central Pedestal;
  • Make sure you have an Emblem Ring equipped whose Bond Level is at Level 5 or more;
  • Navigate through the available Inherited Skills for that particular Emblem Ring;
  • Purchase the Inherited Skill you want using Skill Points.

That said, once you have Inherited Skills unlocked, you can equip one by following the below steps:

  • Open Somniel Menu; 
  • Select Inventory;
  • Now, navigate to the character for whom you unlocked the Inherited Skill; 
  • Select Manage Skills; 
  • Locate and equip the unlocked Inherited Skill.

How to Increase the Bond Level of an Emblem Ring in Fire Emblem Engage

In Fire Emblem Engage, you can increase the Bond Level of any Emblem Ring by simply equipping them and engaging in combat. Doing so will earn you Bond Points that contribute towards leveling your Emblem Ring’s Bond Level.
