How to Get All Fruit Fast in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the latest game in the Animal Crossing franchise, released to high praise and renown amongst new and returning fans of the series!

Apart from tending to and taking care of animals, building up your island with trees of varying fruits is an essential task. And we will show you how to acquire all possible fruits as quickly as possible!

What kinds of fruit can you get?

When the player starts out, there will always be one fruit native to the island they begin on. The native fruits can be one of these five:

• Apple
• Cherry
• Orange
• Peach
• Pear

Apart from one of these native fruits indigenous to the player’s island, Coconuts make up the last fruit that the player needs to acquire to gain access to all types of available trees.

How to acquire every fruit

Firstly, as the player starts off, they gain access to a random fruit native to their island. It can be either Apple, Cherry, Orange, Peach or Pear. Once the player harvests the fruit and plants it, it will take 3-4 days for a fully grown tree to appear, allowing the player to maintain a supply.

The player’s mother will send them one fruit that is not native to the island, which is also a random fruit from one of the other four. Planting that one will gain the player access to a total of two types of fruits.

Once the player has settled in, they need to acquire a few things to get a coconut quickly, namely a shovel and one of their own fruits stashed in their pocket. After getting these, following these steps will gain the player access to coconuts:

• Acquire enough Nook Miles for a mystery island tour.
• Head to the mystery island and find a coconut tree.
• Eat the stashed fruit for strength and use the shovel to dig up the coconut tree.
• Stash the coconut tree and head back to the home island.
• Plant the tree in a sandy coastal area of the island to gain access to a supply of coconuts!

Once these three types of fruits are acquired, the player will have to keep acquiring Nook Miles for more mystery island tours to acquire the remaining fruits. With enough patience and persistence, the player should acquire a thriving supply of all six fruits in no time!
