Shin Megami Tensei V is one of those rare games that allows you to get the powerful bosses you will have to defeat to move the story forward into your party. While this isn’t exactly easy to do, the extra effort you will have to put in to fuse these demons via the Special Fusion mechanics will be well worth it, as these demons are among the best in the game.

How to Fuse Vasuki in Shin Megami Tensei V

Before you can create Vasuki via Special Fusion in Shin Megami Tensei V, you will first have to defeat him. He is one of the story bosses you will have to fight in the Taito ward, so you cannot miss him. He is a Level 72 demon, so you will need to be at a somewhat high level yourself to be able to defeat him. Bring demons capable of using Fire skills and repel, drain, or null Ice to have an easier time.

Once you have defeated Vasuki, you can get him in your party by fusing Ananta, Yurlungur, and Fafnir.

Vasuki’s Resistances and Skills

Vasuki is an Ice and Ailments-oriented demon, and his resistances and skill potential fully reflected this. The demon can repel Ice and resist Dark but is weak to Fire, so keep this in mind when bringing him with you in combat.

Vasuki’s skill potential also feels a little limited, compared to other high-level demons, as he comes with a +4 Ice, +1 in Dark, and +7 in Ailments. His -5 in Fire makes him rather bad at using Fire skills.
