Towards the end of your journey through Da’at in Shin Megami Tensei V, you will have to fight the leaders of different Bethel branches. These demons are extremely powerful, but defeating them not only allows you to move the story forward but also unlocks their Special Fusions.
One of these demons is Odin, leader of the North European branch of Bethel. Here’s how to get him into your party after defeating him.
How to Fuse Odin in Shin Megami Tensei V
As already mentioned, Odin can be gotten into your party after defeating him via Special Fusion. You will have to fight him as part of the story in Komagata in the Taito Ward, so there is no way you can skip this battle.
After defeating Odin, you can get him by fusing Thor, Valkkyrie and Loki.
Odin’s Resistances and Skills
Odin is among the best demons you can get in Shin Megami Tensei V, as he learns a variety of Physical and Electricity skills that deal tons of damage. His resistances, however, aren’t that great, compared to other high-level demons, as the Norse god can only repel Electricity and null Light and Dark. He is also weak to Force, so beware when fighting enemies that use the Zan family of skills.
Odin’s skill potential lets him use the skills he learns naturally competently. He comes with a +6 in Physical, +4 in Electricity, and a +1 in Support. His -6 in Force makes him bad at using this type of skills, so avoid making him learn them during fusion.
