Keeping that in mind, we can offer you some general troubleshooting tips, but you probably won’t have too much success with anything. The reason being is that this is completely on Sony’s side, and not yours, so there’s not much to do besides wait for them to bring PlayStation Network back online.

First off, a power cycle on your router should always be your first step when troubleshooting network errors. Sometimes routers can just get congested, and a good old-fashioned reset might do the trick.

Secondly, you might need to port forward for your PlayStation. Most modern routers have UPnP enabled by default, which should automatically take care of this for you.
