The Fortnite Junk Rift was first introduced during Season X. The consumable item gets unvaulted once in a while so it is good to know how to get one, and how to use it! Most recently this item was unvaulted during the v22.30 update. Find out below how to find and use the Junk Rift in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4.
How to Find and Use the Junk Rift
The Junk Rift is a consumable item that can be thrown to summon a heavy item from a rift in the sky. The item can be a buoy, an anchor, a metal triceratops, a broken down car, a police car, or (during Skywalker Week) an x-34 Landspeeder.
Junk Rifts can be found as floor loot, in rare and regular Chests, and in Supply Drops. They drop in stacks of 2 and can be carried in stacks of 4. When thrown at an enemy they can deal 200 direct damage or 100 damage in a nearby hit shockwave.
To use the Junk Rift, players should aim with the left trigger, and then throw, just like with any other throwable item. Stand well back to avoid being hit by your own Junk Rift!

When the junk falls and lands it gives players materials and ammo, plus the dropped item itself can be farmed for materials. It also destroys any structures it hits.
