How To Find And Salvage Meteorites in Genshin Impact

We are in midst of a long-running event in Genshin Impact called the Unreconciled Stars. The event has three major phases, namely, Unknown Stars, Star of Deceitful Dreams, and Star of Destiny.

The Unreconciled Stars event comes with yet another quest, Prinzessin’s Pact, which upon successful completion will reward players with a free playable character Fischl. If you are not aware of the steps involved in claiming Fischl for free, then check our previous guide.

At current, we are at the second phase of the event. Here players can complete a short quest and then interact with Mona to get location of meteorites, so that you can salvage them and earn the event currency as well as progress towards Prinzessin’s Pact quest.

Where to Find Meteorites in Genshin Impact

The location of meteorites in Genshin Impact is unlocked once players complete the quest The Crisis Deepens. The quest comes under the second phase “Star of Deceitful Dreams” of the Unreconciled Stars event in Genshin Impact.

After completing The Crisis Deepens quests, players have to talk to Mona, as she is one who reveals the location of four Meteorites in your Genshin Impact Map. Now, without any further ado, let us talk about how you can salvage a meteorite.

Also, once players have salvaged the meteorites all four locations. They can re-visit Mona to get new locations.

How to Salvage a Meteorite in Genshin Imapact

Salvaging a meteorite in Genshin Impact is just as easy as completing a normal Leyline quest. Just follow the steps mentioned below-

  • Go to the meteorite’s marked location. (Denoted by Crystal-like icon in Map)
  • Interact with the meteorite.
  • You will be presented with a short skirmish of defeating the mobs, lasting 10 minutes or before if you complete the objectives.
  • Once the skirmish starts, stay within the circle. Yeah, unlike the leyline quests, there are some new mechanics/rules imposed while salvaging a meteorite.
  • Defeating enemies, while staying in the circle, will fastening the salvage meter.
  • Once you are done with the salvage. Go to the meteorite and claim your reward.
