Faming in Project Zomboid is a good source of food. You can plant different plants in your garden. There are the following ones:

  • Broccoli
  • Cabbage
  • Carrots
  • Potatoes
  • Radishes
  • Strawberries
  • Tomatoes

Every crop in Project Zomboid takes different time and requirements to successfully grow. There are 5 stages of grows: seeding, young stage, fully grown stage, ready to harvest stage and seed-bearing stage.

Farming in Project Zomboid is a useful skill and a good way to survive. If you want to live longer and have a lot of food – choose the farmer occupation. Gardener traits can give a major advantage in farming too. To start farming you need the following:

  • Shovel or Trowel.
  • Seeds.
  • Water holder.

The next step is garden preparation, You must plant in a place where zombies can’t get to them because they can trample your crops and destroy your garden. It’s better to build walls around your crops. Then you must prepare the dirt and plant crops. Remember to water your crops. Fertilizing will help crops to grow faster.
