Clash Royale Barbarians evolution guide
The evolved barbarians in Clash Royale are a lot like the angry and powerful raged barbarians from Clash of Clans. Just like the raged barbarians, the evolved barbarians are fierce tanks who are really mad and eager to attack anything that comes their way. When evolved barbarians attack an enemy, they get faster at hitting and moving. This effect can keep building up without a limit, which means they become even more dangerous if someone underestimates them.
To evolve barbarians, you need to collect six barbarian Evolution shards. There are different ways to get Evolution shards in Clash Royale:
- Pass Royale
- Season Shop
- Challenges
- The Shop
- Level-up Chests after King Level 50 (every second Level-up chest)
If you are missing barbarian Evolution shards, you can use Wild shards as a replacement to unlock the evolution. These rare shards can be obtained via The Shop or the Season Shop. Click on Info for Barbarians cards and go to the Evolution tab to unlock evolved Barbarians.

To use evolved Barbarians, first you have to place Barbarians into the Evolution slot, which is the first slot of the deck. Barbarians need to be deployed once to be able to use their evolved variant. Here is an amazing deck featuring evolved Barbarians:
