Just like in Dynasty Warriors 9, you can customize your character in several different ways, such as by equipping gems. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

How to Equip Gems in Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires

Gems in Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires are special items that are obtained in a variety of ways during any of the Conquest Mode story scenarios. These gems not only improve one or multiple stats, depending on the rarity level of the gem, but can also grant additional passive abilities like increased damage of specific attack types, elemental properties and so on.

The higher the rarity of the gem, which ranges between Common and Epic, the more the stats it will be buff and the better the abilities it will grant it will be. Common and Uncommon gems boost two stats, Rare and Legendary three stats, Epic four stats.

To equip gems, you need to access the Player Info menu during your turn into the strategy phase or while preparing for a battle. You will need artifacts to equip gems, and the higher the rarity of the artifact is, the more gems you will be able to equip, further increasing your customization possibilities.
