How to Earn Rewards During Genshin Impact’s Vibro-Crystal Research Event

Phase two of Genshin Impact 2.6 update is underway and the developers have released fresh new events in the game that players can complete and earn rewards. Amongst the new events is the Vibro-Crystal Research event in which a Fontaine researcher arrives Liyue to study the harmonic motion between the Vibro-Crystal gems.

Your mission in this event will be to help the researcher in his task and if successful, you’ll be given lots of cool rewards from Ascension Materials, Primogems, Mora and others. Although before you can participate in the Vibro-Crystal event, you’ll need to have an Adventure Rank of 28 or higher and must have completed the Archon Quest “Rite of Parting” in “Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches.”

So in this article we’ll be guiding you on how to earn rewards during the Vibro-Crystal Research event by actually completing it.

How to complete the Vibro-Crystal Research event

The Vibro-Crystal Research event kicked off on 21st April and will end on 5th May. To start the mission (after meeting its requirements as aforementioned), head to Katheryne from Adventures’ Guild in Liyue Harbor. She’ll be the one to tell you about Patrice, the Fontaine researcher. From there you’ll accept the commission of assisting him with his research.

Afterwards, go to Patrice in The Chasm to commence the challenge in which you will need to select the characters you wish to include in the party. You will also need to configure the Vibro-Crystal setup by selecting “Transmitter Crystals” that govern the trigger conditions for the buff effects as well as the “Receiver Crystals” that trigger the buffs once the conditions are met.

After you’ve done this, start the challenge and try to defeat as many enemies as you can within the given duration to score Harmonic Points. You should also keep in mind that one Transmitter Crystal will be able to project radiation on only one Receiver Crystal. However, each Receiver Crystal can receive transmissions from up to three Transmitters.

So after reaching a certain number of Harmonic Points, your overall Harmonic Strength will increase and you will get a buff in the character’s critical rate.

Once completed, you’ll be given several cool rewards such as Hero’s Wit, Weapon Ascension Materials, Mora, Primogems, Mystic Enhancement and many more based on your performance and end score.
