Cult of the Lamb is a thrilling new game that casts players in the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger, and must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name.
The game allows you to start your own cult in a land of false prophets, venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions to build a loyal community of woodland Followers and spread your Word to become the one true cult. So in this article, we’ll be showing you how to earn Devotion in Cult of the Lamb.
How to Earn Devotion in Cult of the Lamb
Devotion is a very important resource in Cult of the Lamb because it allows you to grow your Cult into an all-powerful following that’ll support you in your quest to defeat the False Prophets of the Lands of the Old Faith.
So if you’re wondering how to earn Devotion, and how to earn it fast in Cult of the Lamb, then it means you’re also looking to get your hands on Divine Inspiration, which is unlocked once you earn enough Devotion.
There are different ways of earning Devotion in the game and the most common way to get it is by having your cultists pray to the Shrine in the middle of your camp. And to get them to pray to the Shrine, you’ll have to walk over and interact with them.
As you’re interacting, choose the ‘Work’ option and then select ‘Worship’. Once you’ve done this, the cultists will stand close to the Shrine and a tiny wheel will appear above their head(s). As they worship the Shrine, you can collect any Devotion that your cultists have garnered by simply walking up to the Shrine and pressing the X button on PlayStation or A on Xbox.
Earning Devotion by Stealing / Completing Quests
You can also earn Devotion in Cult of the Lamb by stealing it from other Shrines that you come across or from your Crusaders through the Lands of the Old Faith.
Completing quests is also another way of earning Devotion. You can complete quests from the lighthouse, close to where you go fishing.
Upon gathering enough Devotion to fill up the bar at the top of the screen, you’ll receive the Divine Inspiration.
