How to Duel Characters in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3

Fortnite NPCs (non-playable characters) are positioned around the island, each ready to offer players weapons or other items for sale, including their service as a bodyguard. Some of them have nothing for sale, but do offer the chance to fight them and receive a reward of Rare or Epic (purple) rarity weapons. Find out below which NPCs offer this, and how to duel characters in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3.

Duelling NPCs in Fortnite

There are 3 different NPCs available to challenge to a duel in this season of Fortnite. Each of them offer Rare or Epic rarity weapons as a reward for defeating them.

The first NPC you could choose to challenge to a duel is one of the newest NPCs to be added this season: Sabina. Sabina can be found in the large white house near the coast, between Logjam and Sleepy Sound. If you defeat Sabina she will give you 2 weapons, some Wood and Chug Splash.

Next NPc to find and challenge to a duel is Mancake. This cowboy can be found at Rocky Reels and offers 2 Epic rarity weapons and Chug Splash when defeated.

The final NPC is Panther. Previously, Panther only offered weapons for sale but currently they also offer the chance to duel them for some Epic rarity weapons. They can be found at the large Gas Station between Sanctuary and Rocky Reels.

Tips and Tricks: When you confirm the duel with an NPC you get thrown backwards to gain you some distance from them. Use this to your advantage and get your first shots in quickly. They have pretty powerful weapons so make sure you have healing items on you, or can find some nearby in case they hit you hard. You can find some high up area to hide for a moment while you heal up. Try to get as many headshots as possible to make the fight end quickly. If the fight takes too long you risk another player coming over and third-partying your duel, killing you or the NPC.
