It’s festive holiday time in Fortnite! Winterfest 2021 is up and running, the map is almost completely covered in snow, and there are rewards to claim. Players have 14 challenges to complete over the festive period, with one released each day. After 7 are completed players get the Snowmando Board glider, and after 10 the Ffrosty icy llama backbling can be claimed. Each challenge also rewards players with 18,000 XP after completion which means there is 270,000 XP up for grabs! One of the available challenges is to destroy 10 holiday decorations, but where can you find these decorations? Find out below.
Fortnite Winterfest Holiday Decoration Challenge
The decorations can be found on most buildings around the map but the challenge asks you to destroy 10, and most players want to complete the challenge in one match. The best places to go to would be large named locations. We recommend Greasy Grove, Shifty Shafts, or Coney Crossroads, but really anywhere with buildings would suffice as they are all covered in decorations. We found loads at Camp Cuddle!
All you have to do is use your melee weapon to hit the holiday decorations until they are destroyed. The wreaths take a few hits but the candy canes and garlands only take one hit to destroy.
