Splatoon 3 Multiplayer Data

When playing Splatoon 2, players had to be very careful with their Nintendo console, ensuring they did not misplace ir, or risk losing all of their save data. This is because save data, including all multiplayer data, was stored on the console hard drive.

If players did not transfer the data for separate storage, the data would be lost and they would have to start over. With Splatoon 3, things work differently. Now all multiplayer save data will be stored server-side, meaning it is directly connected to your Nintendo account.

Splatoon 3 (via Nintendo)

Multiplayer data includes player level, rank, items and gear, and it will all be safely stored on the server connected to your Nintendo account. This does mean that there is basically no way of deleting this information if you wish to do so. The only way to get rid of all of this info would be to delete your Nintendo account and start afresh.

Another tip, although unverified, would be to contact Nintendo Switch directly and speak to one of their experts who may be able to help.

So be aware that all your data while playing Splatoon 3 is perfectly safe on the Nintendo Switch servers, and if you need it removed for any reason you may actually find it difficult to do that!

Good luck and happy splatting!
