How to Decorate Your Castle

Before starting the game, players can choose which server to play on. V Rising has PvP and PvE servers, as well as private ones. Their long-standing difference lies in the fact that on PvP servers, other players will constantly attack your castle. Therefore, if you do not want to spend time defending your castle, we recommend choosing PvE or a private server. However, your castle can still be attacked by various enemies.

How to build a castle

Building a castle is one of the most important things in V Rising. First, you need to place the Castle Heart, which feeds you and your castle. Also, the boundaries of your base depend on the location of Castle Heart. After that, you can select different tabs in the build menu, where you will find walls, floors, gates, and various decorations. You must choose the appropriate building and place it anywhere you like.

You can access this by pressing the “B” key or by heading over to the Fundamentals tab.

It is worth noting that to build and decorate the castle, you will need to collect a lot of resources such as stone bricks and planks. Also, don’t forget to build crafting stations that will create the necessary resources for you.

Building tips

• Braziers give off a pretty light, and they look great especially during the night. However, they use bones so you will need to collect a lot to keep them running.
• We recommend you don’t forget about a gateway, so you can keep unwanted visitors outside.
• Try to place decorations symmetrically, so it will be more pleasing to look at.
