As you travel through the universe, collect resources or complete quests, you will often encounter sentinels that will attack you, and interfere with your play. These robotic creatures are incredibly clingy, and if at first, you take them for granted, over time they become very annoying. If there are a lot of them, it will be difficult for you to cope with them, and today we will share a few tips that can help you.

There are a lot of ways to deal with sentinels, and below we will talk about each of them:

• If sentinels have discovered you, you can find a cave or other hiding place and wait until they leave.
  
• If the sentinels notice that you are doing something they don’t like, you have a few moments to stop doing what you were doing. Wait for the guards to scan the area and leave.
  
• You can get into your ship, fly a little and land, and then run away from the ship. If done quickly, the sentinels will be distracted by your spaceship and start scanning it, and you need to wait until the search bar goes down.
  
• If sentinels are chasing you both on the planet and in space, you need to visit the space station or an anomaly, after which they will immediately stop looking for you.

These were tips on how to avoid encountering sentinels and thus deal with them. But sometimes it is impossible to avoid the fight, and then you need to know how to defeat them:

• Killing normal drones is easy, no matter what weapon you have and where you shoot.
• To destroy Armored Drones you need to shoot them directly in the eyes. There is also a little armor on the eyes, but a few shots are enough to break it.
• To defeat Quads, you need to shoot them in the back. They are not very agile, so you can run around them and destroy them.
• Walkers are very clumsy, so it’s worth luring them into minerals or plants to get them stuck. After that, shoot at the front of the head. Destroying the armor will unlock this sentinel’s weak spot and allow you to kill it.
