How to Damage a Tank to Collect Armor Samples in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

“Damage a Tank to Collect Armor Samples” is one of the new Resistance challenges, which basically serve as the storyline challenges for Fortnite Chapter 3 season 2. Epic Games will be releasing new Resistance challenges every week and allowing players to earn XP and driving the game’s lore further. The latest set of challenges has arrived and one of them requires loopers to collect armor samples by destroying a tank. So, in this guide, we will explain how players can complete this challenge easily.

How to Damage a Tank to Collect Armor Samples in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

As of writing this article, there are a total of eight spawn points for tanks in Chapter 3 Season 2 and players can easily drop into any of the eight locations for this specific challenge. Below are all the locations of eight tank spawns on the map, courtesy of Fortnite.gg:

Once you drop onto any of the above locations, simply find the tank and in order to get and collect the armor samples from the tank, you will need to deal damage to the tank via your pickaxe. After a couple of hits, an armor sample will scrape off and land on the floor which you can then collect. You need to collect two of these to complete the quest.

Completing the challenge will unlock the next quest while also providing players with a decent 23,000 XP in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
