“Welcome to Hogsmeade” is the sixth main quest in Hogwarts Legacy, and it introduces you to Hogsmeade, where you will find shops that sell items you may need throughout your journey. It is a long quest, with certain parts without waypoints guiding players to their next objective.

How to complete “Welcome to Hogsmeade” quest in Hogwarts Legacy
You get the “Welcome to Hogsmeade” quest right after completing Professor Ronen’s Charm class. Before that, you have the option of choosing between Natsai or Sebastian as your traveling companion. Make your choice, then “meet either Natsai or Sebastian near the entrance of Hogwarts.”

We chose Sebastian in our playthrough, so we will use his name from now onwards. That said, the next objective will ask you to “follow Sebastian to Hogsmeade.”
Once you arrive at Hogsmeade, Sebastian will leave your side, and you will get the following objectives:
- Visit Tomes and Scrolls
- Visit Ollivanders
- Visit J.Pippin’s Potions
- Visit the Magic Neep

Once that is done, you must “meet Sebastian at the town circle.” Do that, and you will get to fight your first Troll in Hogwarts Legacy to “Defend Hogsmeade.”

Defeating the Troll is easy, as you can use Ancient Magic Throw attacks to reduce the boss’s HP by a considerable amount. Also, Sebastian will help you during the battle, so you won’t face any trouble defeating the Troll.
After that, you must “Repair the damage (0/7)” done by the Troll using the spell Reparo, which you learned in your Charms class. While you are at it, a shopkeeper will want to talk to you.
When you enter the shop and talk to him, he will reward you for saving Hogsmeade and introduce you to his shop, where you can buy new gear. After that, “follow Sebastian to the Three Broomsticks.”

On your way to the Three Broomsticks, you will find certain interesting individuals who will follow you to the Three Broomsticks. Thankfully, Sinora Ryan, the owner of the Three Broomsticks, will come to your aid.
After a cutscene, you will get the final objective, “Talk to Sebastian outside the Three Broomsticks.” Do that, and you will be asked to teleport to your Common Room at Hogwarts.
Doing so will complete the “Welcome to Hogsmeade” quest. After that, you can access the town and the rest of the open world whenever you want.
