Shin Megami Tensei V offers a vast selection of sidequests that allow players to earn some very nice rewards that make the remainder of the adventure considerably easier. As such, completing them is a very good idea for all types of players, given how challenging the game can be, even at Normal difficulty.
Among the first few quests available in the Shinagawa ward is the Those Seeking Sanctuary sidequest. Here’s how to complete it.
How to Complete the Those Seeking Sanctuary Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V
The Those Seeking Sanctuary sidequest can be started by speaking with the Lilim inside the ruined building located to the west of the Shinagawa Pier Leyline fount. The precise location can be found on the map above.
The Lilim demons inside the building wish to move into Tokyo, but a Principality is blocking their way. The angel can be found to the east of the Shinagawa Pier Leyline fount, in the location shown on the map below.
After reaching the area, interact with the Principality. At this point, you can either fulfill Lilim’s request and fight the Principality, or talk with him to fail the quest and take on another one.
If you choose to fight Principality, get ready to fight two of them. These demons are weak against Dark and use Light attacks, so bring the appropriate demons to make the fight easier.
After defeating the Principality demons, go back to Lilim to complete the quest. You will receive a Dark Sutra and 4000 EXP points as reward. Lilim will also join your party.
