Ruined King: A League of Legends, like any other role-playing game worthy of its name, features plenty of side content that allows players to relax between main story quests while getting rewarded.
Among the optional sidequests in the first game of the Riot Forge initiative is the Surface Appearances sidequest. Here’s how to complete it.
How to Complete the Surface Appearances Sidequest in Ruined King: A League of Legends
The Surface Appearances sidequest can be started only after completing the Friendly Neighbors sidequest, as both quests are part of the same questline.
Once you have completed the Friendly Neighbors sidequest, enter the warehouse. Explore it to find a few useful items, like the Blue Flame Broadsword and potions, and then head at the end of the linear path inside to find a crate. Interact with it and enter the passage.
Once down the passage, continue moving on until you are confronted by a couple of smugglers. Defeat them to get the Smuggler’s Key, which can be used to open the locked door found previously in the passage. Open the door, climb the ladder and you will find yourself inside Beryl and Chester’s shop, discovering the truth behind them being so friendly (and the shop’s prices being so affordable). Talk with both of them, and then take them down in a fairly easy fight.
Once you have dealt with both Beryl and Chester, loot the shop and then go back to the warehouse owner via the underground tunnel. Speak with him to complete the quest and receive 300 Gold.
