How to Complete the Fionn’s Resolve Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V

Right from the very start of the adventure, Shin Megami Tensei V allows players to go exploring around in search of treasure and optional sidequests that can provide some very nice rewards that will make the remainder of the adventure a little easier.

Among the late-game sidequests available in Shin Megami Tensei V is the Fionn’s Resolve quest. Here’s how to complete it without too much trouble.

How to Complete The Fionn’s Resolve Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V

The Fionn’s Resolve sidequest can be started by speaking with Fionn mac Cumhaill, who can be found to the north of the Umayabashi Leyline fount. You can find the demon’s precise location on the map below.

This sidequest is a combat-focused sidequest where you will have to fight Fionn again to show your resolve. By interacting with the demon, a fight will begin, so make sure you are prepared for a moderately challenging fight before doing so. Like in the first battle against Fionn, you will want to bring demons that can use Electric attacks like the Zio family of skills, and that can resist, null, repel or drain Fire and Physical attacks. Given the demon’s high attack power, you will want to apply some debuffs on him as well as some buffs on your party members.

After taking down Fionn, the quest will be complete. You will receive one Battle Sutra and 90,000 EXP points as reward. Fionn will also join your party and his Special Fusion will be unlocked.
