How to Combine Potions

The Mage has four skill trees: Alchemy, Spellcaster, Enchant, and Rod. We’ll be examining the Alchemy skill tree specifically, as it contains the skills you need to mix potions into new ones.

At Alchemy level 2, you’ll unlock the Chemical Transmutation skill, which allows you to combine two potions into a new one. Once you have this skill, open your inventory, highlight the potion you want to combine, then press your Cast Spell button. You should see a yellow box appear around the potion. Now, select the second potion you want to mix and press the Cast Spell button once more to mix the two potions.

This skill is incredibly handy as not all potions in Vagante are beneficial. If you pick up potions with negative effects, you can combine them into something potentially more useful. With the Alchemy level 1 skill Potion Knowledge, you’ll automatically identify every potion you pick up without the need for an identification tool. This should help you keep track of what potions to look out for, as the potions are randomized every run.

That concludes our guide on how to combine potions in Vagante. If you have any other dungeon crawling tips to share, let us know in the comments below!
