How to Change Your Name in Clash of Clans

First of all, you’ll have to upgrade your Town Hall to atleast level five. This will unlock the name-changing feature. After you’ve fulfilled the Town Hall requirement, you’ll have to open the settings.

To do this, simply click on the triple cog icon toward your screen’s bottom right corner while inspecting your village at the same time. You’ll find yourself on a menu where you can also adjust the game’s music and sound effects.

Now locate the ‘More Settings’ button and tap on it. You’ll then see the ‘Change Name’ at the top of the list, you can press the button toward the right of it to start the name-changing process.

If you’re changing your name in the game for the first time, you can do it for free. If not, you’ll need 500 Gems to change your name once again. A third one will cost you 1500 Gems as well. So it’s more like the amount of Gems is increased by 500 everytime.
