While the new entry in the series comes with a lot of new features, some of the old mechanics are still present, and they have been considerably streamlined to offer a smoother experience.

Among these features is the ability to change Pokemon names. Here’s how to do it.

How to Change Pokemon Names in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Renaming Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus is extremely straightforward, and it can be done as soon as you get your very first Pokemon.

To rename a Pokemon, all you need to do is open the main menu, highlight the Pokemon whose name you want to change, and select the Change name option. You can change a Pokemon name as many times as you want, which is a far cry from some of the previous entries in the series that severely limited how many times you could do this.

As already mentioned, Pokemon Legends: Arceus streamlined many of the series’ most frustrating features, so if you didn’t like how some things were handled in the past, you are sure to love the changes introduced by the latest Pokemon game.
