How to Catch Thundurus Therian Forme in Pokemon GO?
Thundurus Therian Forme is the second of three Therian Forme legendaries to rotate into the five-star raid scene. That’s right, you will be taking on Thundurus Therian as a Five-Star raid battle in Pokemon GO, which is the only way you will be able to encounter the genie for now.
Thundurus Therian Forme enters the five-star Raid ring starting April 5 at 10 AM local time, remaining there until 8 PM on April 12. If you want a guaranteed shot at encountering a Thundurus Therian raid, the Raid Hour event on April 6, running from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, is sure to feature the Electric Genie at nearly every Gym in the game.
Can Thundurus Therian be Shiny in Pokemon GO?
Sadly, as is tradition with Pokemon GO, Niantic will not immediately release Thundurus Therian’s shiny version along with its initial appearance in raids. Niantic likes to delay the release of highly-anticipated content as much as they can to keep players hooked, so fans can expect the addition of shiny Thundurus Therian sometime in the future, but not at the moment.
