Now that you can have your own home base in Genshin Impact, decorating the interior is a must. The addition of houses comes with being able to buy different furniture that lets you customize your house as much or as little as you like. To furnish your home, these are the steps you must take.
How To Get A House
To access your home to put the furniture in, you have to unlock something called the Serenitea Pot. To get it, you need to have completed the quest called A Teapot to Call Home: Part 1. Unlocking this has two requirements; you have to complete the A New Star Approaches quest and get a level 35 Adventurer Rank. Once you knock out these two prerequisites, you’ll get everything you need to get going with making furniture.
Where To Find Furniture
You can purchase both already made furniture and blueprints for pieces. Blueprints require materials and time to build, so be wary of how many you spend your currency on at first. You can get blueprints from Master Lu’s shop in Quingce Village or Goth in Mondstadt. You can find Goth near the castle in Mondstadt’s central area.
A great resource for treasures and furniture is by accessing your Realm Depot, done via talking to Tubby the Bird. Here you can use realm currency to get things for your home. The more Trust Ranks you unlock, the bigger Tubby’s item inventory will become.
On the weekends, you may find the Traveling Salesman bird Chubby in certain areas of the map. Chubby only appears on Fridays to players that unlocked the area he’s in and to everyone on Saturdays and Sundays. Because he only appears in certain places on certain days, Chubby carries a unique variety of items and is definitely worth checking out.
Once you get the hang of purchasing blueprints, you’ll have a home in the game worth showing off in no time!
