How to Buy and Own a Horse in BitLife

Horses are wonderful companions to have, and you can take them for a ride if they like you enough. Whether you’re trying to complete the Ken Enough challenge or you just want to own the horse of your dreams, here’s what you need to do.

Normally, if you wanted to buy a pet, you could just go into the Activities, then Pets. Right off the bat, you can purchase cats and dogs from breeders, or you can go to the shelter and pick out a buddy in need.

You may have notice that there’s a button for Horse Ranch, which means you buy horses right? Well, yes, but there’s a catch: Before you can buy a horse, you need to own a suitable house, which can be a ranch, equestrian property, or farmhouse.

Farms are very expensive, usually costing at least a million dollars. If you really want to own a horse, you’re going to have work for it, literally. Make sure you’ve got a good paying job, as it’ll take a couple years of work to earn enough money.

Of course, you can also turn to alternate means of making money. There are lots of different ways to earn money without working, such as inheriting family wills, marrying into a rich family, becoming famous and getting free stuff sent to you by fans, and so forth. Whatever way you prefer will probably do the trick.

Once you have enough money, go into Shopping, then check out the Real Estate Brokers. The farm properties aren’t too rare, so you should see them pop up frequently.

Once you’ve purchased a farm property, return to the Pets menu, and the Horse Ranch button should no longer be grayed out. Congratulations, you can now buy horses to own on your farm property!
