How to build a wood farm:

  • At the very beginning, to create a farm, you will need the following resources: Copper Hoe, Watering Can, and Root Seed.
  • To get Root Seed you need to play a little, but it’s quite simple to do. There are several ways to get these seeds. They can be obtained randomly from slime in the mud biome, found in various chests, or by collecting wild plants. If you are a higher level and have the Azeos’ Wilderness biome unlocked, destroying yellow plants will give you random seeds.
  • Next, having acquired everything you need, you need to dig up the ground with a hoe. It is advisable to plow the land with dimensions of 5×5, as this is the optimal distance for this farm.
  • Next, plant Root Seed in the very center and pour water from a watering can.
  • After that, it’s necessary to just wait, the roots will begin to grow in all directions along with the plowed land.
  • You can harvest your crops and get wood, but don’t break the roots in the center where you planted the plant, as no new roots will grow after that.
  • Sometimes you will need to water your Root Seed and in order not to run to the water every time you need to fill the watering can, we advise you to do the following. Find a water source near your farm and use a shovel to dig a trench from the source to the farm. Water will be poured into the dug-up hole and thus you can bring water from anywhere on the map.

We hope that this article was useful for you and now you can easily extract any amount of wood.
