Players can discover a wide variety of resources and use them to create builds according to their liking. However, not everyone has a creative mind to think of great build ideas.
Even so, players can create impressive builds with the help of pre-made structures. One of the first buildings you will create is a simple shack, and here’s a guide to help you build it in LEGO Fortnite.
Building a Simple Shack in LEGO Fortnite
The Simple Shack is one of the few starter buildings you can make in LEGO Fortnite and is part of the game’s tutorial for teaching building mechanics. While the steps are easy and straightforward, some players may feel confused when building their first Simple Shack.
To build a Simple Shack, you will need to collect a total of 13 pieces of wood. Before starting the building process, players are recommended to gather enough wood, or they will have to run back to chop down trees after every step. To start building, open the build menu by pressing Q on the keyboard or B on the controller. In the build menu, go to the Builds tab and select Simple Shack from the Starter Shacks category. Then, choose where you want to build the shack.
The first stage of building a Simple Shack involves placing the wide floor. Next, you have to position one shack wall and two shack pillars to complete the first stage. In the second and third stages, you will create the roof of the shack by placing a roof support, a half wall, followed by shack ridge 02. That’s it! Your Simple Shack is now ready.
