The first thing you have to do is purchase the horse barn on your farm property for 118,500 dollars. This is a pretty hefty investment, so you have to earn money from wheat and other starter aspects first. The chickens are an option, but they will not start to make eggs until they are grown. If you want, you can get a head start by buying a grown chicken for 50 dollars.

Horses can start to make babies at 22 months old and will carry them for 11 months. Breeding them is pretty straightforward but a little more involved than the other animals because their stats need to be very good for it to happen. This means regularly brushing the horses, riding them every day, and of course, feeding them. As long as they are happy, they will make babies which can be raised and sold for profit. You also need to make sure you have room in your stable, as it holds up to eight.

Horses are a great investment that will bring you joy in Farming Simulator 23!
