As much as the Pokemon mainline series games are about their plotlines, characters, and Pokemon designs, it is equally focused on its battling as well.
There are a lot of things that need to be kept into consideration when it comes to battling mechanics in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Before entering battle, a trainer should make sure they have a balanced team of Pokemon that can handle a variety of opponents that they will encounter throughout the story.
They also need to make sure their Pokemon are healed up: their statuses cured, health to max, and PP restored completely. PP is an important component of battles, as running out of it can hinder your chances of winning.
How Much PP Does the Recover Move Have in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?
In the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl games, the Champion Cynthia is known to be notoriously tough to beat. One of her most threatening Pokemon is Milotic, who seemingly never stops healing HP turn after turn with its Recover move.
Well, you will be relieved to know that Recover only possesses 10 PP, which means that if Cynthia’s Milotic is Recover-stalling you, you can simply wait till it runs out of Recover PP, which is after 10 Recovers.
If you would rather not play passively, just make sure you have a strong electric type you can use against Cynthia’s Milotic. Something like a Luxray that will hit it’s weaker physical defense is sure to knock it out with one strong Wild Charge.
We would recommend Grass types as well, but Cynthia’s Milotic possesses the move Ice Beam, which will hit your Grass-type for super-effective damage, and hence, that would not be the most optimal method to deal with the Recover-stalling Milotic.
