Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires, like the original Dynasty Warriors 9 released a few years back, is a massive game filled with many amazing battles and an entire kingdom to unite.

While the game is lacking when it comes to actual play modes, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is definitely not lacking in terms of content, featuring a nice selection of different story scenarios that can be played as part of Conquest Mode.

Here’s how many scenarios are available in the game, and if any extra one is available as DLC.

How Many Campaigns Does Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires Have?

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires follows the Romance of the Three Kingdoms story, but not as closely as Dynasty Warriors 9 does, as the game lets players leave their mark in history, giving them the chance to unite China under a single ruler, which could be any of the historical rulers featured in the game, a Musou Officer or a character of their own creation.

Conquest Mode features at launch a total of 11 scenarios. Of these, only 8 will be available to you if you purchase the game’s standard edition, as the Battle of Tong Gate, The Fall of Shu, and the Popularity Contest scenarios are only available as part of the Deluxe Edition.

While the different campaign scenarios do not differ that much between themselves, especially if you are controlling a custom character, there are reasons to play through all of them, as they feature some exclusive cutscenes that will be shown depending on the character you have picked and how you are handling the unification of China.
