Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released in January 2022 on the Nintendo Switch. The action role-playing game became an instant hit among Pokemon fans and new players alike who praised it for the exciting new features and gameplay style. Although it does give players a new way of playing Pokemon, it has still kept its roots to the original games strong by tying old characters to new characters within this prequel. Players explore the land and research Pokemon, completing missions and character side quests called ‘requests’. Find out more about these requests below.
Requests in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
As players work their way through the main story in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, more requests become available. These requests can be found on the map indicated by a white circle within a dark blue marker.
Completed requests give players rewards such as resources, items, and Pokeballs, as well as XP. The requests can start in any location, and take players anywhere on the map. This means many of the requests help players explore a bit more and perhaps encounter Pokemon or characters they may not have seen or met yet.
Many of the requests are unlocked once the previous part is completed within the side story, such as the General Store upgrade side quest near the start of the game. This particular request requires players to go back and forth between two characters, Choy and Tao Hua, finding items they ask for, and to also defeat various Pokemon.
Other requests appear on the board in the Galaxy Hall basement once you have captured or encountered certain Pokemon.
There are currently (as of 28th February 2022) 122 requests in Pokemon Legends: Arceus but there may be more added in the future updates. Find the full list of requests and how to unlock them here!
