If you missed Advance Wars and wanted to play these two popular games on your Nintendo Switch, now’s your chance. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp puts you in charge of the Orange Star Army as their chief tactical advisor on your quest to protect your homeland.
The revamped versions of these beloved turn-based games bring improved visuals and all the nostalgic fun from more than 20 years ago when the first Advance Wars game came out. And if you’re wondering how many missions Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has, we have all the info.
How Many Missions Are in Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp?
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp includes the main campaigns of both games and has a total of 58 missions—24 in Advance Wars 1 and 34 in Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising.
Advance Wars 1 missions start with the Field Training Mode and later split into Andy’s and Max’s routes. Once you finish the whole Advance Wars 1 campaign, you will be able to start Advance Wars 2.
Can You Play Advance Wars 2 Before Advance Wars 1 in Re-Boot Camp?
Yes, you can. Even though it is recommended to finish all the missions in Advance Wars 1 first for the story and then move on to Advance Wars 2, you can access the second part right away after starting Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp.
When you start the game, it looks like the second part is not available from the get-go, but you can unlock Advance Wars 2 by clicking on the icon for the second part on the Campaign screen.
There you have it—the reboot has enough missions to keep you entertained for some time. We hope you have fun, and if you need more help with the game, check out more useful guides in our dedicated Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp section.
