Players start in a small hotel and grow their businesses like opening an alpine hotel, a luxurious bed & breakfast, an exotic lodge, or an apartment complex. There are all kinds of accommodations available that can be furnished with every detail from the reception desk until the bedrooms and suites. Guests can be provided with single, double, triple, or even King rooms.

Number of Levels
The gameplay of Hotel Empire Tycoon revolves around the construction and upgrading of all of the hotels in the game. Each hotel counts as one level for the game and all of them have different requirements to be completed.

- The Stanley Resort (Requires 4 stars)
- Blue Crystal Resort (Requires 9 stars)
- Santa’s Shelter (Requires 15 stars)
Each hotel has a different number of rooms of each kind, including guest rooms and utility rooms for the staff. Every level completed will provide stars to unlock the next, till all four of the hotels are finally available to the player!
