Being one of the most popular games ever made, there was no way that Fortnite wouldn’t take part in the May 4 Star Wars celebrations this year. And it is doing so in style, with a special event that brings new content inspired by the franchise.

Here’s how much time you have to celebrate everything Star Wars in Fortnite with the new celebratory event.

How Long Does the Star Wars x Fortnite Event Run?

The Star Wars x Fortnite event started on May 3, but the event is going to run way past the actual Star Wars Day, May 4, so players will have plenty of time to enjoy everything it has brought to the popular battle royale game.

As confirmed on May 3 by the Fortnite Team on the Fortnite official website, the Star Wars x Fortnite event will be running from May 3 until May 17. During these two weeks, players will be able to pick up and use Luke’s, Obi-Wan’s, Kylo Ren’s, and Mace Windu’s Lightsabers, the E-11 Blaster Rifle, and go through Stormtrooper training in new Star Wars Quests. If you complete five of these quests, you will earn an Empire Banner.

If you’re looking to purchase some more Star Wars-inspired content in Fortnite, you will also be able to do so until the end of the event, as every non-Battle Pass Star Wars outfit that’s been in the Item Shop has become available once again.
