Plenty of Legendary Pokemon are also available in Pokemon Go, but catching them isn’t particularly simple, as you cannot simply find them as you roam the world.

This is the same for Latias, the female member of the legendary Eon Duo, who fans of the series should know well, especially if they played and mastered Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire and their remakes.

Here’s how you can catch Latias in Pokemon Go.

How Do You Get Latias in Pokemon Go

As already mentioned, finding Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Go is a little more complicated than finding regular Pokemon, as they cannot be found roaming the world.

To catch Latias, you will have to take part in five-star raids, as all Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Go only appear in such raids. Additionally, you also have a one in twenty chance of getting a Shiny Latias, so, if you get lucky, you may even get more than you bargained for.

If you’re looking to get a Meta Latias instead, you’d better hurry up, as the Mega Evolution of the Legendary Pokemon will appear in Mega Raids until May 10, 2022 as part of the Air Adventures event. Chances of Mega Latias and Mega Latios appearing in gyms are higher at 6 pm local time, so plan your day well if you want to catch these powerful Pokemon!
