Welt is one of the returning characters from Honkai Impact 3rd that players may get to play when Honkai: Star Rail launches in the coming years.

In Honkai: Star Rail, Welt is no more the sovereign of Anti-Entropy. He, with his first Herrscher’s power, is on a new journey. And, in this Honkai: Star Rail Welt character details guide, we will share everything we know so far about him. 

Honkai Star Rail Welt’s Voice Actor

Welt’s English voice actor is Corey Landis, and his Japanese voice actor is none other than Hosaya Yoshimasa, a famous voice actor who has voiced a myriad of anime characters.

Honkai Star Rail Welt’s Story

“The wise and sophisticated former Anti-Entropy Sovereign who inherits the name of the world — Welt. He has saved Earth from annihilation time and time again.”

“After the calamity ended, the heavy burden ordained by fate to Welt had been removed for a time, and he became an animation storyboard artist. However, after the conspiracy with St. Fountain came to a close, Welt had no choice but to venture with the initiator of the incident to the other side of the space portal.”

“Perhaps even he didn’t expect the new journey and companions that awaited him.”

Honkai Star Rail Welt’s Abilities

So far, miHoYo has not yet shared any official and exact details on Welt’s abilities. However, they did showcase glimpses of his abilities in the Honkai: Star Rail Reveal Trailer.

In the trailer, players can see Welt using his Cane to dash past his enemies—inflicting multiple lethal slashes. And, at one point, players can see him using his Cane to create a blackhole-like area (Herrscher of gravity power) on the ground. Now, both of these glimpses can be a part of the same ability. But, that is yet to be known. 

If he still retains his abilities from Honkai Impact 3rd, players can expect Welt to use the first Herrscher’s power.

Honkai Star Rail Welt’s Weapon and Gear Options

In the Honkai: Star Rail reveal trailer, we see Welt using his Cane to attack enemies. So, players can expect him to use Cane (Sword) as a weapon.
