More than two months ago, a really interesting first person game has been announced for iOS devices called Hellraid: The Escape. The game has now received a final release date.
Techland, the game’s publisher, has confirmed that the game will be released on July 10th. The game was going to be released sooner but the team confirmed last month that it was going to be delayed so that Hellraid: The Escape could be polished further.
Hellraid: The Escape is the prologue of the PC and console game Hellraid. In Hellraid: The Escape you will have to escape a magic prison by solving several different puzzles, explore the mysterious prison and defeat some hellish creatures.
Even though the game is a first person title, there’s going to be limited shooting, as the focus is going to be more on the puzzle solving and exploration features, making Hellraid: The Escape an interesting take on the first person formula, which is mostly focused on the abused “shoot everything that moves” gameplay mechanic.
Hellraid: The Escape will be launched on the App Store on July 10th as a Universal App that can be ran on iPhone and iPad both.
