Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is a role-playing video game developed and published by Jam City under license from Portkey Games. The game is set in the Wizarding World and based on the Harry Potter novels written by J.K. Rowling.
The game was released for Android and iOS on April 25, 2018. Players praised its free-roam settings throughout Hogwarts with an underlying original plot looming in the background. There are a lot of entertaining features added in between the main story to make the game more engaging for players.
There have been limited-time based events throughout the history of the game and the latest one was the Valentine’s Day event named Secret Admirer: Love Howlers.
Howlers
Howlers were introduced to the game as part of the game’s Valentine’s Day event, and there are a bunch of locations where they can be found.
Each of these Howlers gives players different rewards every day, and one new Howler is added every day in a different location. These rewards are:
- Howler 1: 500 Coins
- Howler 2: 30 Pages
- Howler 3: 60 Energy
- Howler 4: 1 Gold Toffee
- Howler 5: 1000 Coins
This event lasts from February 14 to February 18. All the daily clues were available on the Hogwarts Mystery Instagram page, as they generally do for these events.
Howler Locations
The Howlers are located at several different spots around the Castle and the surrounding areas. These Howler locations increase every day, starting from Day 1 up until Day 5. These specific locations are:
Day 1: Great Hall
Day 2: Dungeons
Day 3: Courtyard
Day 4: Magical Creatures Reserve
Day 5: Charms Classroom
