Granny Legend Cheats: Tips & Guide to Win All Battles & Pass All Stages

In today’s article we are going to cover all of the Granny Legend tips and cheats to help you pass the stages and help granny knife down all the opponents.

Yeah, you’ve heard it right! It’s a granny and she has a knife – or rather, several knives! You will be tasked to move a granny around the battlefield and take down various monsters coming at you, all with just the move of a finger (you move granny with the finger).

It’s a super fun game, so if you want to enjoy some casual monster fighting game with a crazy granny, then this is the game for you! I really enjoyed playing it, and to be honest I think that it is pretty relaxing too (if you are able to dodge the monsters in time that is).

But enough with the praising of the game – you are here to learn all the Granny Legend tips and tricks that we have for you, so let’s not waste another moment and dive right into them!

Learn to control your granny

It all starts pretty basic: you drag and drop your granny wherever you want – but if you think about it carefully, it’s not all that fun and games! You will have to move your granny in such a way that her weapons will reach the monsters, and keep on moving her around to avoid getting hit by any monster attack.

As soon as the granny has been touched by an enemy, she will die, and you will have the option to revive (see below for more tips and reviving for free) or to waste the Energy and start over!

I suggest that you take your time and try moving your character around a little to learn how the best move pattern is so that you can take the best approach and learn what the limits are. Do this because once you get used to controlling the granny, you will have it much easier dealing with the higher levels where the monsters are much more difficult.

Dodge ALL monsters, no matter what weapon you have

Now you know that the weapons that you have equipped are of two types: primary and secondary. These weapons have a set range, with the Secondary weapon dealing more damage than the main one. The tricky part comes here:

– Your secondary weapon will do more damage than the first, but it is closer to your character as well.

– If you rely on this alone, you will have to be extra careful because the monsters will be much closer to you than how they would be if you used only the primary weapon.

– Don’t rely on this alone if you haven’t mastered moving the granny around, because even if you fail by one single pixel, you will take a hit and die!

Therefore, remember this: dodge all incoming monsters and try to stay out of their way, examine their trajectory and move somewhere safe, while still hitting them from a distance with the main weapon. This might take slightly longer, but you know the saying: better safe than sorry!

Manage your Energy – don’t spend it all and replenish it for free

Adventuring into any stage will cost you 5 Energy! It’s good enough reason not to go into a stage to die, because if you do, your Energy will not be refunded and you will have to start over from the beginning if you don’t revive.

One Energy point will replenish in 3 minutes, so it will take a little bit to refill everything! It costs 20 Gems to refill Energy to full, but you will have a few ways to refill it for free! All you have to do to get free Energy is to tap on the “More Energy” button in the main interface, on the right side of the screen.

There you will be able to get 20 Energy for free every day, and for free but by watching an ad afterwards. So basically you will be able to get 80 Energy for free every day, if you don’t count the one that refills over time. Simply watch an ad to refill this whenever you want, up to 3 times a day! It will be definitely worth it!

Open chests from the stages

Every now and then you will see monsters dropping various chests on the battlefield. Walk your character over them and you will be able to add that to your level loot! All that you really have to do in order to open it is to watch an advertisement!

These chests are very useful if you want to claim Gems, because that’s what they contain mostly! It’s a nice, easy and free way to get premium currency, so definitely go for it if you don’t mind spending 30 seconds for a few Gems!

Pick up all the weapons (knives and such) and boosts

At start, since you will have Granny as your character, who is using Knives, so I will refer to these as Knives because you will know what I am talking about. Every now and then the monsters will drop on the battlefield a knife or two.

Walk over them to pick them up whenever you see them, because they are going to be extremely useful since they increase the range and speed of the Granny’s main weapon. Basically every character has this feature, and it boosts their main weapon. This is a very good way to increase the range and damage, because the faster the knives spin, the more damage the enemies will take.

Walk carefully though, because they might drop around monster spawn areas so you should be careful not to be attacked while going to pick them up! Sometimes you will also see various boosts (trust me, you can tell them when you see them) and whenever they appear, go pick them up because they are time limited, but boost your damage by a LOT!

Watch an ad to triple your coins

After finishing a stage you will see an option to “claim” your rewards, or “claim x3” by watching an advertisement. If you want to make a ton of upgrades to your characters, you should definitely take advantage of all the ways that you can gather Coins, because they are worth it.

By watching a short ad (which will take up at most 30 seconds of your day) you will triple the rewards which means that it will be like passing that stage 3 times, or passing 3 stages! It’s way easier to farm and do this, because usually passing a stage takes more than 30 seconds, which is how much it takes for an ad to play.

Claim free rewards in the Shop

Every single day, you can head into the in game Shop by tapping on the “Shop” tab in the main interface. At the very top of the screen you will see a section called “Deals” where you can see several deals.

Some of these deals require you to put some money into the game, while others are simply free or require you to watch an ad to collect them. Every day you can claim one of these rewards for free, without the need to even watch an ad! Make sure you do this, and if you want to go for the rewards given by watching ads too, go for it!

This is something that you should do because every day these deals are going to be up there, so it is definitely worth it if you want to benefit from every single Gem and Coin.

Collect free Gold over time

In the main interface you will see on the right side of the screen (right underneath the “More Energy” tab if you have that active). There you will gather Gold over time, even while offline, to help you make upgrades much easier.

Make sure that you collect these every time that you log back in to the game after being offline, because it will make a big difference if you want to upgrade all of your characters.

Upgrade your heroes

Now we kept mentioning upgrading your heroes, but finally we got to it! So if you head on to the Heroes tab in the bottom right corner of the screen, you will see the heroes available in the game, along with the Primary and Secondary weapons on the top side.

Make sure that you always spend your Coins to make upgrades to these weapons, because they are definitely going to make a big difference. I would suggest upgrading the main weapon to level 10 or so first, then the secondary one, because the main weapon is what will touch the enemy first!

Once you made these upgrades, head on into your game and see what a big difference it is when it comes to the damage. It’s definitely a big thing to upgrade constantly, so make sure that you keep it in mind and do it whenever you saved up enough Gold.

Died? Revive for free!

Not gonna lie – you will end up dying a few times in the game, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying again and again! It happens because you either got hit by an enemy which got to you through all that weaponry arsenal that you struggled to build by being reckless, or because you missed noticing a monster’s ranged attack.

Whenever you die in game, you will be able to revive for free by watching an advertisement! I definitely suggest that you do it, because it will be worth it since you can freely continue where you left off!

However, if you have Energy to spend and you are not in the mood to watch an ad to revive, you can just wait a couple of seconds and you will get the “Defeat” screen which will redirect you shortly back to the main interface.

Choose a free Partner!

Every day you can choose to play alongside a free Partner! This will make things much easier, by aiding you in battle. They will attack as well, and it will be something like a Batman and Robin duo! Your little sidekick cannot help you very much though, since you can only acquire a Partner 5 times a day by watching an ad!

I suggest doing this if you have a tough time dealing with the stage as it is, and definitely during the boss stages if you can’t really defeat the boss on your own! It’s fun so definitely go ahead and get a Partner!
