1. Follow the beat!

Try to play this game with music and sounds enabled. The levels are sort of designed to go along with the beat of the song, and if you’re actively listening to it, it might help you know when to jump. Of course, don’t follow the beat the entire time – you’ll jump right into your doom if you do so! So, if you’re having trouble with the trickier successive jumps, trying going along with the beat.

2. Grab those coins!

Each level has giant golden coins hidden around the level for you to collect. You probably won’t be able to collect all of them on your first playthrough as by the time you see one, it’ll probably be too late to grab it. These things require hard memorization, so you’re going to have to revisit levels and keep on the lookout.

3. Try out practice mode!

Have trouble with a level? Considering trying out practice mode. In practice mode, you play through the same exact level but you have the option to leave behind green diamonds. These diamonds act as checkpoints, so you can leave one before a particularly tricky segment to practice it as much as you like. Some of the customization options can be unlocked only through practice mode too!

4. Practice makes perfect!

Along with the aforementioned practice mode, Geometry Dash Meltdown is all about rote memorization. Play through the levels enough times and soon you’ll know the whole layout from the back of your hand. Just keep playing and playing until it becomes second nature to you!

5. Take a break!

As the game demands your full attention, it’s wise to take a break every now and then. You’ll get frustrated pretty easily if you continue to die a lot, leading to even more deaths. Step back and take a break and regain yourself. Once you come back, you’ll have all your concentration and you can begin anew!

That’s all for Geometry Dash Meltdown. If you have any other tips or tricks to share, leave a comment below!
